Today, we released the inaugural issue of Zero Day, a quarterly digital publication that provides IT security professionals with a broader view of the current state of IT security, vulnerabilities, and cloud security trends.
When we started discussing the possibility of publishing a magazine on IT security, we felt it was important to add something unique and valuable to the many voices and opinions already involved in the dialogue about the topic.
We realized Alert Logic’s unique position in the industry would allow us to do just that. We work with organizations of all sizes, with infrastructure in environments from the data center to the cloud. We also work with all of the leading cloud platforms, the top managed service providers, and a wide network of Value-Added-Resellers (VARs) and System Integrators (SIs). This broad visibility provides us with a perspective that is different from traditional security technology and service providers.
That said, we want Zero Day to represent more than just the Alert Logic perspective. So, to provide a broader view of the current state of IT security, vulnerabilities, cloud security trends, and the threat landscape, we tapped other industry leaders—Jeff Tutton of Intersec Worldwide, Alan Shimel of DevOps.com, and Vincent Berk of FlowTraq—all of whom are featured in this inaugural issue. Through their contributions to and the ensuing production of Zero Day, Issue 1, we realized that our purpose in publishing Zero Day isn’t to tell a story within the confines of these pages, but to get the conversation started.
