See You at AWS Summit Chicago 2016

As a leading provider of security-as-a-service, Alert Logic will appear at the AWS Summit in Chicago on April 19to share our solutions with the Amazon Web Services community.

Get an early start by attending our breakfast with Cloudreach, which includes topics like building security into DevOps and the importance of the shared security model. We’ll be in Grant Park D CC12 Meeting Room on the first floor of McCormick Place. Grab a bite and hear from Ryan Holland, Cloud Security Architect at Alert Logic, and Damian Tommasino, Cloud Architect at Cloudreach.

After breakfast, you can find Alert Logic at Booth #511, where you’ll be able to converse with a Sales Engineer or Security Evangelist about Alert Logic’s 24x7 managed security services, watch a demo about how to best secure your AWS workloads, as well as try your hand at being a “hacker” of sorts by attempting to pick a series of locks.

While you’re in Chicago, don’t forget to stop by our after party with Red Hat and HOSTING. We’ll be kickin’ it old school with vintage arcade games, food and drinks at HQ Beercade. Reserve your spot at the party here.

For some added fun:

The staff at the Alert Logic booth aren’t the only ones who are experts on all things AWS–follow @AlertLogic on Twitter or search #AWSSummit to brush up on your AWS trivia before joining us in Chicago.

So far we’ve asked “What is the max size limit for an item in Amazon DynamoDB?” To which most people correctly replied “400 kb.” In DynamoDB, a fully managed NoSQL database service, the database is made up of data items, each with a different amount of attributes (e.g. color). A Data Item is composed of a primary or composite key and a flexible number of attributes, and this particular AWS service is able to process a collection of these attributes up to 400kb.

If you missed this one, don’t worry—Twitter trivia questions will run every week until the Summit on April 19, so check back with us. See you there!
